Attorneys

Nathan Schwartz practices in the area of professional liability defense, business litigation and labor and employment law, with a particular emphasis on motion and appellate practice.  Mr. Schwartz has wide-ranging legal experience.  He served as in-house counsel for the Citigroup entity providing credit insurance, debt protection products, and ancillary services to all of Citigroup's consumer lending subsidiaries, as well as the company's full portfolio of credit cards, including Diners Club, Citibank, and Universal cards.  As an associate in one of the leading insurance defense firms in Dallas, he handled litigation including third-party liability defense and equitable subrogation claims.

Mr. Schwartz was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1999 and is admitted to practice in all state courts in Texas and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.  He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association.

Mr. Schwartz is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in interdisciplinary studies.  He earned his law degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law where he was a member of law review and the school's first interscholastic mock trial team.  Mr. Schwartz frequently returns to Wesleyan as a guest lecturer for the school's trial advocacy practicum.  He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association where he serves on the Pro Bono Committee.
